Amar maner madhuvane, tumi esechile is the 2202nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] For other songs with the same or similar first line (title), see Amar maner madhuvane.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámár maner madhuvane
Tumi esechile
Madhu d́hele dile táte
Phul je phot́ále

Kai ni kathá tomár sane
Ele sonár siḿhásane
Álo jhará smitánane
Man keŕe nile

Tháko[nb 2] mane sauṋgopane
Bhávjagater ei gahane
Keu dekhbe ná ná dekhte jáne
Tumi náhi cáile

O lord, into my mental garden,
you had come.
you poured honey into that
and made flowers bloom.
i could not talk to you;
you came on to the golden throne
with light emitting smiling face
and snatched my mind.
please stay in the mind secretly,
into the depth of mental world,
so that none can see and even after seeing,
none would know if you do not want.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ All Bengali source text gives this word as Tháko. In the audio file, it is incorrectly sung as Theko, enforcing a non-contextual sentiment at this point.
