Ghar sájáye rekhechi áj
Punarágamaner tare

Álor chat́áy bhare giyechilo
Maner je koń tamah d́háká chilo
Je komalatá jhare giyechilo
Suniviŕa andhakáre

Svágata jánáte taerii ámi
Káj kari tomári náhi thámi
Tava bhávanáy jhare tithi jámii

আমি স্বপ্নে দেখেছি কাল
তুমি এসেছিলে মোর ঘরে
ঘর সাজায়ে রেখেছি আজ
পুনরাগমনের তরে

আলোর ছটায় ভরে’ গিয়েছিল
মনের যে কোণ তমঃ ঢাকা ছিল
যে কোমলতা ঝরে’ গিয়েছিল
সুনিবিড় অন্ধকারে

স্বাগত জানাতে তৈরী আমি
কাজ করি তোমারই নাহি থামি’
তব ভাবনায় ঝরে তিথি-যামী
আনন্দাশ্রু অঝোরে

O lord, i dreamt yesterday
that you had come to my home.
Today, hence, i have kept my home decorated
for the repetition of your visit.

The mind that was covered with darkness
got filled
with illumination. into the pitch darkness,
softness got filled.
I am ready to welcome you.
I am doing your work without pause.

With your ideation, my days and nights are passing,
flowing profound tears of bliss.
