Anádi pather pathik je ámi
Anante cali tava páne
Maner mukure dekhi báre báre
Tomár hásit́i sure táne

Pather shuru kotháy hayechilo
Játrárambha kon kśańe chilo
Sediner calá ke bá dekhechilo
Tái bhávi áj ápana mane

Patha shuru tava bhávanáy chilo
Dina kśań janam ná niyechilo
Ámár se calá shudhu dekhechilo
Tava mana prabhu nirajane

অনাদি পথের পথিক যে আমি
অনন্তে চলি তব পানে
মনের মুকুরে দেখি বারে বারে
তোমার হাসিটি সুরে তানে

পথের শুরু কোথায় হয়েছিল
যাত্রারম্ভ কোন ক্ষণে ছিল
সেদিনের চলা কে বা দেখেছিল
তাই ভাবি আজ আপন মনে

পথ শুরু তব ভাবনায় ছিল
দিন-ক্ষণ জনম না নিয়েছিল
আমার সে চলা শুধু দেখেছিল
তব মন প্রভু নিরজনে

I'm the pilgrim of a path with no origin;
Toward You I proceed for eternity.
Time and again in mind's mirror I perceive
Your smile in a tune with melodic key.

Where had been the path's commencement;
At which minute was the journey's outset?
And who had witnessed that day's movement?
In my own mind, now I muse on it only.

Within Your thought had the path started;
Birth had taken not a day or moment.
My locomotion, it had simply witnessed
Your inclination, Lord, privately.
