Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ánande ucchal[nb 2] álo jhalamal
Niilotpal tumi nava prabháte
Chande caiṋcal priitite ujjval
Svarńakeyúr jyotihsampáte

Tomár rúper kona tulaná nái
Tomár guńer kúl kinárá ná pái
Ácho jági sabár lági (sadá)
Sabár shiyare base dine ráte

Bhálo ná bese thákite ná párá jáy
Tava bhávanáy man bháve upacáy
Sabár priya atulaniiya (tumi)
Jene náhi jene bhási tomári srote

O lord, you are the blue lotus in the new morning,
bright with bliss and shining with effulgence.
vibrant with love and restless with rhythms,
illuminated like a golden armlet.
There is no comparison of your beauty,
i do not find the shore or end of your attributes.
you are always awake for all,
dwelling within the head of all day and night.
It is impossible for me to remain without loving you.
with your ideation, the mind is overflowing.
you are incomparable, loved by all,
knowingly or unknowingly i float in your stream.
