Diner áloy nái bá ele
Ráter káloy jena pái

Tomáre cái dine ráte
Duhkhe sukhe ashrupáte
Dagdha hiyáy pralep dite
Tomár samán kehai nái

Tomáy ámi bhálabási
Tumi ámár cáṋder hási
Rauṋ berauṋer puśparáshi
Táito tomár giiti gái

আনন্দের এই সমারোহে
তোমার কথাই ভেবে' যাই
দিনের আলোয় নাই বা এলে
রাতের কালোয় যেন পাই

তোমারে চাই দিনে রাতে
দুঃখে সুখে অশ্রুপাতে
দগ্ধ হিয়ায় প্রলেপ দিতে
তোমার সমান কেহই নাই

তোমায় আমি ভালবাসি
তুমি আমার চাঁদের হাসি
রঙ-বেরঙের পুষ্পরাশি
তাইতো তোমার গীতি গাই

O lord, on this occasion of grand assemblage
i go on thinking about you only.
you did not come in the light of the day,
and i found you during darkness of night.
I want you day and night,
during pain, pleasure and tears.
there is no one like you
to apply ointment on the burnt heart.
i love you, you are the smile of my moon,
collection of colourful flowers,
hence i sing your song.
