Andhar nishar avasane is the 1987th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhár nishár avasáne
Phul phut́eche manavane
Komal se phul dole dodul
Rekhechi sauṋgopane

Phul phut́eche tomár tare
Trpti dite tomáre
Ámár ámi jánoi tumi
Ucchala tava spandane

Tumi ámár he devatá
Jáno sakal marmakathá
Maner vyathá ashrugáṋthá[nb 2]
Tava nrtyeri rańane

At the end of the dark night,
a flower blooms in my mental garden.

That soft flower swings
inside a hidden cradle.

It blooms for you,
to provide you with satisfaction and pleasure.

You know..., my "i" feeling,
is restless with your vibration.

You are mine,
O divinity;
You know the entire events of my core.

All my mental agony,
my tear-filled story,
lies within the resonance of your dance.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ There is a contradiction in the Bengali source regarding the last word of this line. It is variably given as gáṋthá and gáthá. The Sargam is consistent with gáṋthá, and the meaning is a bit sweeter. So here gáṋthá is preferred.
