Káche t́áno jadi more báso bhálo

Nityakáler tumi cira purátan
Sarvakáler tumi cira nútan
Nútaner abhisáre mátáo more

আঁধার নিশীথে প্রভু আলো জ্বালো
তুমি জ্বালো
আঁধার ঘরেতে মন ঝিমিয়ে পড়ে
জ্যোতিঃ ঢালো

তোমারে চেয়েছি মোর কাছে কাছে
চেয়েছি জীবনে মনেরই মাঝে
তুমি দীপশলাকা নিয়ে এসো এগিয়ে
কাছে টানো যদি মোরে বাস ভালো

নিত্যকালের তুমি চির পুরাতন
সর্বকালের তুমি চির নূতন
নূতনের অভিসারে মাতাও মোরে
প্রাণের প্রতীতিতে নাশো কালো

O lord, in the dark night, you kindle light.
the mind becomes inactive in the dark house,
You pour illumination.
i want you close to me, in life within mind.
if You love me, you come forward
carrying lighting torch.
you are most ancient of all the time,
and ever new eternally.
intoxicate me for the love meeting of the new,
with realization of heart and mind,
destroy the darkness.
