Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhár ságar páre ke go ele
Jyotir dháráy dhará bhare dile (tumi)
Tomáke cini ná tomáke jáni ná
Tabu tumi mor man jine nile

Rúpe rúpe pratirúpe nrtyarata tumi
Práńer spandane upce paŕecho tumi
Tomáke cinite ki pári ámi
Tava krpá ná hale

Eká tumi anek ádháre rayecho
Eká tumi sabáre path dekhiye calecho
Tomár kathá bale sheś náhi hay
Siimá náhi rákhile

From beyond the dark ocean,
who is that you, who has come,
filling the earth with the flow of effulgence.
i do not know or recognize you;
still you have won over my mind.
you are ever engrossed in dances in each form.
in the vibration of life, you overflow.
how can i recognize you,
until your grace showers?
alone you stay in innumerable bases and pabulum.
All alone, you go on showing the path to all.
there is no end of explanations about you.
You have kept no limits.
