Aranya marmare alakha abhisare is the 1639th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Arańya marmare alakha abhisáre
Tumi esechile vasanta hillole
Manera mukure priitimadhu[nb 2] sáre
Sei ágaman tava smrti jvale ujjvale

Bhule tháká bholá nay
Bhuli ni se paricay
Se marma viińár táre
Jhauṋkáre bhese cale

Kusumita kánane kiirtita kalatáne
Maner mádhurii mákhá mandrita madhuvane
Rekhe geche rekhá tava je parash abhinava
Ajhore je ájo jhare aiṋjita kajjale

O lord,
in the murmur of the jungle,
with unseen love,
You came like a wave of spring.

In the mirror of my mind,
as essence of the sweetness of love,
that arrival of yours,
shines bright in my memory.

Even after attempts of ignoring you,
that introduction, i could not forget.
It floats on with the vibrating string of my internal viin'a'.
In the blooming floral garden,
the glorified songs of birds resonate,
sweetened with mental sweetness.

You left behind the marking of your new touch.
In my eyes it remains even to this day.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
