Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Áj) Aruńe ráuṋáno sab áshá
Sárthak halo bhálabásá áj

Phulabháre bhará vanalatá áj
Ánande nata manalatá áj
Mádhurje bhará sab bháśá

Eso álor ságar páne páŕi dii
(Eso) Bhálor sab kichui mene nii
(Eso) Bháver madhurimáy geye jái
Bhule atiiter káṋdá hásá

(Eso) Mamatár t́áne sabákár sane
Gáne gáne kari melámeshá
Kari madhumákhá melámeshá

Now all hopes are made bright by the morning sun;
On this day love became successful.

Now the forest ivy is laden with flowers;
Bowed with delight are mind's tendrils now...
Every language is full of dainty elegance.

Come, let's set forth toward the shining sea;
Come, let's deem as auspicious each and everything.
Come, let's go, singing with the sweetness of comradery,
Leaving behind the crying and the smiling of yesteryear.

Come, in warm allure, including everybody;
With song after song, we keep company...
Company we keep, varnished with honey.
