Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásbe bale giyechile cale
Ásár samay halo ná
Káche jabe chile bhálabesechile
Balechile bhulibe ná

Tarulatá graha tárá kata shata
Tava bhálabásáy ápluta
Kena ámáre rekhe dile dúre
Smrtipat́e rákhile ná

Ámári matan bhule jáoyá kata
Dhúloy lut́áy haye vyatháhata
Táder vedaná mane ki pashe ná
E keman man balo ná

O lord,
You said to come and went away.
But, time for your return did not come.
When you were nearby,
You loved, and said that you would not forget.

How many hundreds of trees, plants, stars,
and planets have been flooded with your love?
But, why have you kept me away,
and did not stay on the screen of memory.

Like me, many forgotten ones
are lying on the ground afflicted with agony.
Does not their pain enter your mind?
How is this mind of yours, tell me?
