Bhává ná bhává sabi tumi jáno
Avajiṋáta jane nikat́e t́áno
Mantrer múrchanáte áno
Chot́o baŕa bhed náhi rákhile

Káler adhiish tumi bhávanátiita
He mohan cidghana citte sthita
Jape dhyáne dehe mane udgiita
Dúrke káche kare nile

আশার প্রদীপ জ্বালিয়ে দিলে (তুমি)
ছন্দে গানে ভরিলে
নিরাশার কুহেলিকা সরিয়ে দিয়ে
উদ্ভাসিত করে' দিলে

ভাবা না-ভাবা সবই তুমি জান
অবজ্ঞাত জনে নিকটে টান
মন্ত্রের মূর্ছনাতে আন
ছোটো বড় ভেদ নাহি রাখিলে

কালের অধীশ তুমি ভাবনাতীত
হে মোহন চিদ্‌ঘন চিত্তে স্থিত
জপে ধ্যানে দেহে মনে উদ্গীত
দূরকে কাছে করে নিলে

You lit the lamp of expectation;
You infused rhythm and song.
Removing desperation's fog,
You conveyed illumination.

Regarded or not, You recognize everybody;
Persons neglected, You entice near.
You bring them by mantra's intoning;
Tiny or large, You kept no distinction.

Ruler of time, You're beyond anxiety,
Hey, the charming Sentient Being, located in psyche.
With japa and dhyan, sung aloud by mind and body,
You brought near the distant ones.
