O lord,
The time is coming, oh homeless ones;
O one needing no shelter!
For you His door has been unfastened...
It has opened, it has opened.
Who of you is without food or garments,
For you mass distribution has begun.

The day has come
Nobody will remain sick and helpless;
when for you,
All alike will receive His affection.
all doors opened up.
To humanity more heads are bowing;
None will perish neath a tree.

None remains
Pangs of thirst and hunger won't be brooked;
without food nor clothes,
No longer will downtrodden's wails endure.
when, for you,
Pitch-dark ignorance will not persist;
free distribution prevails.
In human mind, divinity has awakened.

None remains
orphan and distressed any longer.

All attain his love equally.
In the shelter of humanity,
none has to lie under trees.

No more tolerating of pangs
of hunger and thirst,
no more of the distress call
of the exploited.

The darkness of avidya' is no more,
for, divinity has arisen
in the minds of human beings.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásiyáche sedin ogo áshrayhiin
Tava tare tár dvár khule geche
Khuleche khuleche
Ke ácha annahiin ke ácha vastrahiin
Tava tare sadávrata rayeche

Anáth átur ár thákibe ná keha
Sabái samabháve pábe tár sneha
Mánavatáke ár máthá guṋjibár
Táre jete habe ná taru niice

Kśudhá trśńár jválá sahite habe ná ár
Ár ná thákibe nipiiŕiter háhákár
Thákibe ná avidyá andhatamisrá
Mánuśer mane devatá jegeche

The time is coming, oh homeless ones;
For you His door has been unfastened...
It has opened, it has opened.
Who of you is without food or garments,
For you mass distribution has begun.

Nobody will remain sick and helpless;
All alike will receive His affection.
To humanity more heads are bowing;
None will perish neath a tree.

Pangs of thirst and hunger won't be brooked;
No longer will downtrodden's wails endure.
Pitch-dark ignorance will not persist;
In human mind, divinity has awakened.
