Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bakula gandhe madhuránande
Madhupa chande esechilo (se je)

Sheśer pareo shuru haye tháke
Sheś nái táhá balechilo

Jiivaner dhárá asheś apár
Marumájhe hárá hay ná calár
Tomár gatite tomár drutite
Tomár srote se calechilo

Sab vedanár sakal bádhár
Laohakapát́ bheuṋgechilo (se je)

With bakul scent and bliss so sweet,
He had come in the rhythm of a honeybee.

"Even after termination did await an outset;
There is no finish." That is what He'd said.

"Life's current is eternal, without any end;
Never is its movement lost inside of a desert.
On your passage, at your speed,
In your stream, ever did it proceed."

All afflictions, all impediments...
Those iron gates He had shattered.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[4]

The Lord came with the fragrance of the bakula flower and with a wave of sweetness, with the rhythm of the honeybee. In His eternal movement there cannot be any full stop. When we say this is the last point, then we see that it starts once again. A river may dry up amidst the desert, but the flow of life will not dry up, even amidst the desert of obstacles. Oh Paramapuruśa, when You are with me, no obstacle can stand before me as insurmountable. Even iron gates will crumble to pieces when Your grace is with me. Oh Lord, stay with me.
