Ná ná bhulbo ná
Sauṋge chile ájo rayecho
Jáni kabhu dúre sare jábe ná

Andhakáre varábhaye ácho
Áloker májhe pulake nácicho
Srśt́i sthiti laye mete ácho
Tomáke dúre rákhbo ná

Sabár sauṋge milemishe ácho
Shubha bhávanáy prerańá ditecho
Gáner bháśáy sur jugiyecho
Tomáke cheŕe thákbo ná

বন্ধু হে ভুলি নি তোমায়
না না ভুলব না
সঙ্গে ছিলে আজও রয়েছ
জানি কভু দূরে সরে’ যাবে না

অন্ধকারে বরাভয়ে আছ
আলোকের মাঝে পুলকে নাচিছ
সৃষ্টি-স্থিতি-লয়ে মেতে’ আছ
তোমাকে দূরে রাখব না

সবার সঙ্গে মিলেমিশে’ আছ
শুভ ভাবনায় প্রেরণা দিতেছ
গানের ভাষায় সুর যুগিয়েছ
তোমাকে ছেড়ে’ থাকব না

Abiding Friend, I did not forget You;
No, no, I won't make the blunder.
You were with me, now too You've accompanied...
I know You won't go far off ever.

In the dark You are there, granting boons and safety;
And mid rays of light, You are dancing in ecstasy.
With G-O-D,[nb 2] You are in rhapsody;
But I'll not keep You at a distance.

You are in harmony with everybody;
You've been stimulating beneficial thinking.
