Bandhu tomar rupera chatay is the 539th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bandhu tomár rúpera chat́áy
Dhará kariyáche álokasnán
Supta hrdaye jágáye diyecho
Jaŕere karecho cetaná dán

Sambodhir oi padmavediite
Tritápa játaná ceyecho harite
Práńer shońite ceyecho bharite
Avaheliter hrta mán

Pralayauṋkar agni jváláo
Bhayauṋkar bhúkampe náŕáo
Niiti bhule hay jakhan mánav
Dhvaḿsajajiṋe jatamán

O eternal companion,
by your radiant beauty,
the earth became bathed in light.

Sleeping hearts were awakened
as you bestowed the gift of consciousness
upon inert, inanimate beings.

Seated on the lotus altar of intuition,
You snatched away the three-fold pains.
With the very surging of your blood,
You imparted vitality to the neglected and defamed.

When human beings forget the proper path
and indulge in destructive actions,
ignite your devastating fire of retribution;
unleash your cataclysmic earthquakes.
