Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Beṋdhe rekhecho je more
Prabhu tomár priitir d́ore
Tomáy bhule thákte ámi
Kabhu náhi pári
Ashrujale práńocchale
Tomár kathái smari (ámi)

Tumi ámár diner álo
Tumi ámár ráter kálo
Tumi ámár manda bhálo
Kat́hor komal hari
Griiśma tápe shiit átape
Ácho ámáy gheri

Neiko ámi tumi cháŕá
Tumi prabhu jagat joŕá
Chinna áshá bhinna kari
Smrtite rao bhari
Ácho háriye jáoyá kuŕiye-páoyá
Sab kichu ávari

O lord, with your thread of love, you have kept me tied.
I am never able to forget you. with tears and overwhelming heart,
I remember your events today. you are my daylight and darkness
of night. o the soft and hard lord, you are my good and bad.
You surround me like sunlight in both heat and cold. i cannot be
separated from you, as you are the lord keeping the whole world united,
even though parting the torn hopes, you ever remain filled in the memory.
You are present in my loss or gain, covering everything.
