Manera májhe je madhu áche
Tái d́hele gechi tumi ná niye hesecho

E nit́huratár nái tulaná
Phireo tákáo ná dekheo dekho ná
Tabuo d́áki bhule ná tháki
Bhule tháki shudhu tumi bhule rayecho

Kśudra ámi siimáte gherá
Alpa parisare mor calápherá
Tumi brhat asiim mahat
Eman liilá kena kare calecho

ভালবাসি তোমায় আমি
চোখের জলে মোরে ভাসিয়ে দিয়েছ
মনের মাঝে যে মধু আছে
তাই ঢেলে' গেছি তুমি না নিয়ে হেসেছ

এ নিঠুরতার নাই তুলনা
ফিরেও তাকাও না দেখেও দেখ না
তবুও ডাকি ভিলে' না থাকি
ভুলে' থাকি শুধু তুমি ভুলে রয়েছ

ক্ষুদ্র আমি সীমাতে ঘেরা
অল্প পরিসরে মোর চলাফেরা
তুমি বৃহৎ অসীম মহৎ
এমন লীলা কেন করে' চলেছ

Yourself I hold dear;
On tears You've cast me adrift.
At core of psyche the honey that's present,
Only that I've kept pouring; rejecting, You've grinned.

Of this hardheartedness, there is no comparison;
You look not back, and even seeing You ignore.
Nonetheless, I invite– I don't stay forgetting Thee;
I remain forgetting only that forgetful You have been.

I am puny, ringed by limitations;
In a scanty area, my perambulation.
You are huge, limitless and great;
Why have You gone on making such a liila?
