Sájáye rekhechi ghar
Bhulechi ápan par
Keṋde hayechi kátar
Nishi cale gelo

Phul jhare gelo sheśe
Ashru vátáse meshe
Vedaná ákáshe bhese
Hárá halo

ভালো বেসেছিলে
কেন বলো
যদি না দিলে ধরা
অশ্রুতে যদি না গল

সাজায়ে রেখেছি ঘর
ভুলেছি আপন-পর
কেঁদে’ হয়েছি কাতর
নিশি চলে’ গেল

ফুল ঝরে’ গেল শেষে
অশ্রু বাতাসে মেশে
বেদনা আকাশে ভেসে’
হারা হ’ল

O lord,
You loved me, why? tell me.
If now you do not allow me to hold you,
what is the use, and if you do not melt by my tears?
I have kept my home decorated for you.
Forgotten own and distant.
I have become desperate crying for you,
and night passed.

At end, flowers withered away, tears dried in air.
My pain floated away in sky and lost.
