Eso ámár áro káche
Mane madhu bharái áche

ভোরের আলো লাগল ভালো
রঙ-লাগানো পূর্বাকাশে
এমন সময় হে গীতিময়
থাকতে যদি তুমি পাশে

তোমার আমার এই পরিচয়
অন্তবিহীন মাধুরীময়
তুমি আছ আমিও আছি
বিরতিহীন অবকাশে

এসো আমার আরও কাছে
মনে মধু ভরাই আছে
তোমার তরে পাত্র ভরে’

The morning light is so pleasing;
the eastern sky is so colourful.
at such time o the embodiment of songs,
i wish if you had been with me.
this introduction between you and me
is endless and full of sweetness.
you are there; i am also there,
in this pause less recess.
come still closer to me,
i have kept the mind full of honey
that overflows with enthusiasm for you.
