Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bujhechi jagate tumii sár (ámi)
Srote trńa sama bhási anukśań
Ekhan jenechi ámi tomár

Deha man mor krpáte tomár
Ásá jáoyá kari jujhi vyathábhár
Vindu ámi tava karuńár
He mahásindhu amrtadhár

Jene bá ná jene tava pathe cali
Duhkhe mane mukhe tava nám bali
Tava bhávanáy klesh jválá bhuli
Tava giite pái priiti apár

O lord, i understand well now
that you are the essence in the universe.
Like a blade of grass i floated
each moment in the stream,
now only i know you.
my body and mind is due to Your grace.
i come and go struggling the burden of pain.
o the great ocean of nectar flow,
I am a just a meager drop of your mercy.
knowingly or unknowingly, i move on your path.
i speak your name with mouth
only when in sorrow.
i forget the burn of agony
by your ideation.
i find unlimited love in your song.

Currently, only the following audio rendition is available. However, it does not conform well with the notation portion of the Sargam. Though benefit of the doubt is given to the audio rendition, the first line as sung may be in error.
