Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Cái ná kichu tomár káche (ámi)
Cái je shudhu tomáke
Já áse jáy kii habe táy
Káṋdáy bholáy ámáke

Mańi muktáy rajat hirań
Sát ságarer saiṋcita dhan
Tháke ná ananta jiivan
Hási khushiir jhalake

Tháko ámár ápan haye
Kśudra maner drgvalaye
Madhur mohan bhávt́i laye
Arúperi rúpáloke

O Lord, I do not want anything from You,
I want only You. What would happen
with the things that come and go,
they simply delude and make one cry.
The gems, pearls, silver and gold,
the collected wealth of the seven oceans,
never stay in the infinite life
and show only the glimpses of temporary joy.
You remain becoming my own,
within the periphery of my meager mental vision,
absorbed in sweet charming ideation,
in the excellent light of visible arena.
