O lord, you had come into campak garden
To [[:wikipedia:Magnolia champaca|magnolia]] grove You had reached;
and waited for me.
You had waited for me,
this was your causeless grace.
Granting unearned mercy.
I was with hurt ego feeling,
In a huff had I been,
keeping the door bolted.
The doorway bolting.
i am unable to forget

the event of that day.
The event of that day I'm not able to forget;
that memory produces
That memory affects the thought process.
significance in the mind.
A sweet distress of hope-and-despondence,
the sweet pain of hope and hopelessness
It gives sway repeatedly.
swings me again and again.

that campak garden is still there,
Even up to this day a magnolia grove is there,
but the deity of the pilgrim arena
But gone away is the lord of that sanctuary.
went away.
Due to only my mistake, at root of anxiety;
due to my basic mistake of the thought,
Love has disappeared.
the love went away.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Campaka vane tumi esechile
Basechile mor tare
Ahetukii krpá kare
Ámi chinu abhimáne
Argal diye dváre

Se diner kathá bhulite pári ná
Se smrti manane dey je dyotaná
Áshá niráshár madhur vedaná
Dolá dey báre báre

Campaka vana ájo paŕe áche
Se tiirthapati dúre cale geche
Ámári bhule bhávanár múle
Bhálabásá geche sare

To magnolia grove You had reached;
You had waited for me,
Granting unearned mercy.
In a huff had I been,
The doorway bolting.

The event of that day I'm not able to forget;
That memory affects the thought process.
A sweet distress of hope-and-despondence,
It gives sway repeatedly.

Even up to this day a magnolia grove is there,
But gone away is the lord of that sanctuary.
Due to only my mistake, at root of anxiety;
Love has disappeared.
