Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Citta ámár áveg ámár
Caiṋcal kena tumi áji
Jata tapasyá jata cikiirśá
Sárthak hate cale bujhi

Bhorer ákásh beshii je rauṋin
Manobhúme áj báje madhu biin
Tandrá tanimá hayeche viliin
Devadundubhi ot́he báji

Man chút́e jáy dúre bahu dúre
Utalá tat́inii náce smita niire
Uttál hiyá cale je gáiyá
Tava stuti nava ráge sáji

O mind and impulse,
why do you turn restless?

All my penance appears to come to an end,
all my earnest desires appear to be fulfilled.

The morning sky is more colourful today
and a sweet flute sound resonates in my mind.

The subtlety of drowsiness has vanished.
The divine trumpet resounds.

My mind rushes out far, further and further.
My overflowing river dances smilingly in its waters.
My overwhelmed heart sings your praise,
decorated in a new adornment.
