Tuśáramaoli tumi svaprakásh
Dhúrjat́i mahákaola nivás
Tomár carańe tomár tarańe
Kot́i himaváha bhúloke bay

Juga juga dhari shira uṋcu kari
Rayecha tumi atandra praharii
Ságarer megh nidághodveg
Tava karuńáy vári jharáy

দেবতাত্মা হিমালয় (তুমি)
নগাধিরাজ বৈভবে রাজ
চির প্রশান্ত মহিমালয় (তুমি)

তুষারমৌলি তুমি স্বপ্রকাশ
ধূর্জটি মহাকৌল-নিবাস
তোমার চরণে তোমার তরণে
কোটি হিমবাহ ভূলোকে বয়

যুগ যুগ ধরি’ শির উঁচু করি’
রয়েছ তুমি অতন্দ্র প্রহরী
সাগরের মেঘ নিদাঘোদ্বেগ
তব করুণায় বারি ধরায়

O lord,
sheltering the hima'laya mountain,
You are the essence of all deities.
You remain established in attributes.

You are eternal tranquility,
a palace of glory.
You are snowpeaked,
selfeffulgent,
carrying long matted haired.
You are the residence of the greatest preceptor.

At your feet,
by your instruction,
millions of glaciers flow into the world.

From era to era,
with head held high,
You remain as everalert watchman.

By your mercy,
the sea clouds bring rain,
when encountering the sun's impulse.
