Diip jvele diye dure jai is the 1789th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Diip jvele diye dúre jái
Álo dekhe mane rekho ámáy
Sure tále bhese jái
Priiti mor gáne mishe jáy

Surasaptake beṋdhechi viińá
Ráge táhá sádhá hayeche ki ná
Tumi balo sur cená ki acená
Ekathá shudhái áj tomáy

Gáner rájá he surasamrát́
Nija mahimáy tumi je svarát́
Vishvavibhu he vibhave virát́
Tava dyutite dhará upacáy

"Having lit a lantern, far away go I;
Having seen the light, keep Me in mind.
On melody and music's meter do I glide;
In my songs love gets combined.

"With octave I have bound the lute;
Through raga, whether it's been tuned.
You tell if a melody's familiar or obscure,
And now that's what I ask to you."

Hey King of Song, Emperor of Melody,
You are God by virtue of Your own glory.
Lord of the Universe, hey Omnipresent Deity,
With Your splendid beauty, Earth is overflowing.
