Din áse ár din cale jáy
Kothá cale jáy kei bá jáne
Kakhano cetane kabhu acetane
Kakhano ghume kabhu jágarańe

Kotháy chilám kabe je esechi
Kena je esechi bhuliyá giyáchi
Ámár jatakháni ámi go jáni
Ámár ceye beshii sei je jáne

Ámár prayojan jata áyojan
Sabi bhará áche táhári mane

দিন আসে আর দিন চলে যায়
কোথা চলে যায় কেই বা জানে
কখনো চেতনে কভু অচেতনে
কখনো ঘুমে কভু জাগরণে

কোথায় ছিলাম কবে যে এসেছি
কেন যে এসেছি ভুলিয়া গিয়াছি
আমার যতখানি আমি গো জানি
আমার চেয়ে বেশী সেই যে জানে

আমার প্রয়োজন যত আয়োজন
সবই ভরা আছে তাহারই মনে

Days come, and days go;
Where they go, who knows?
Sometimes I am conscious, other times unconscious;
Sometimes sleeping, other times awake.

Where was I long ago when I appeared;
And why did I come— I have forgotten.
Oh, this much only I know:
More than I, He knows.

My needs and my plans
Are fulfilled in only His mind.
