Manomohana sáje vane madhura májhe
Rúpe rúpátiite meláy

Cinite pári ná táre ghore ghare báire
Citter agocare mane áse ki kare
Hrdaye alakh dyuti paráńe apár priiti
Bhálabese bholá halo dáy

Jata bhávi bhávibo ná tár páne cáhibo ná
Nikat́e eleo kabhu kona kathá kahibo ná
Nijeke báṋdhite nári tári bháve bheuṋge paŕi
Ekathá ke káháke bojháy

দোলা দিয়ে কে গো চলে যায় (আমায়)
মনোমোহন সাজে বনে মধুর মাঝে
রূপে রূপাতীতে মেলায়

চিনিতে পারি না তারে ঘোরে ঘরে-বাইরে
চিত্তের অগোচরে মনে আসে কি করে
হৃদয়ে অলখ দ্যুতি পরাণে অপার প্রীতি
ভালবেসে ভোলা হ'ল দায়

যত ভাবি ভাবিব না তার পানে চাহিব না
নিকটে এলেও কভু কোন কথা কহিব না
নিজেকে বাঁধিতে নারি তারই ভাবে ভেঙ্গে' পড়ি
একথা কে কাহাকে বোঝায়

Having given me a swing, oh Who leaves?
Mid an arbor sweet, in heart-captivating dress,
Both shape and shape-free He makes meet.

In the gloom out of doors, with Him I cannot be acquainted;
Then does He enter mind without psyche's awareness?
In life a fondness immense, in heart a shine invisible;
Forgetting being loved became a difficulty.

Anything I think or will think, I'll not gaze in His direction;
Even if coming close by, of Him I won't ever talk.
But I can't restrain myself, musing on Him alone I'm shattered;
This predicament, to Whom will anyone make clear?
