Dur alakar alo go tumi is the 735th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dúr alakár álo go (tumi)
(Tumi) Sabár cáite bhálo
(Tumi) Mamatáy bhará sudhásáre jhará
Násho kalmaśa kálo

Udáratár tuuṋga shikhare
Madhuratár mrdu marmare
Andha tamisrár parapáre
Eká jege tháká álo

Bháuṋgá buke tumi áshár váratá
Ráuṋá shishu mukhe madhura palitá
Sakal khoyáno káuṋgál hrdaye
Práptisukh d́hálo

O lord,
You are the effulgence of the distant heaven,
You are best of all.

You filled all with affection.
You poured into all the essence of nectar.
You destroyed all dark dirt.

On the high peak of generosity,
with the soft sweetness of murmuring,
beyond pitch darkness,
You are the singular and awakened illumination.

You are the message of hope
to broken hearts.
You are the sweet and soothing clourful wick
in the mouth of the infant.
You pour the joy of attainment
into the heart of a complete pauper.
