The dark night is going away
Far removed goes the deep, dark night;
and new sun smiles in the eastern sky.
On eastern sky a newly risen sun beams.
the mist of the mind terminates and hope arises,
Having hewn the mind-fog, hope blooms
and the air is sweet, resonant with grave sonorous voice.
On a vibrant wind that's sweet.
do not sleep any more, all get up;

there are several jobs pending in the festival of life.
Sleep no more, stay up, everybody;
There are many enemies,
At the feast of life, enough work is there.
remove them with resolute conviction and firm hope.
Many enemies exist; banished they must be
i have come to this earth for a limited period only,
With firm belief and expectation steady.
within that we have to manage completion.

if the time passes off in lethargy and pleasure,
With time delimited, on earth we've appeared;
how the vow can be fruitful?
Chores must be finished, managed inside that span only.
Will your mission be successful, will it be achieved,
If the time drifted away in self-indulgence lazy?

Dure sare jay tamasii jaminii is the 2115th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dúre sare jáy támasii jáminii
Naváruń háse púrvákáshe
Maner kuyáshá ket́e phot́e áshá
Mandrila madhu vátáse

Ár ghumáyo ná ut́he paŕo sabe
Anek káj áche jiivaner utsabe
Anek ripu áche sariye dite habe
Drŕha pratyaye drŕha áshe

Dharáy esechi siimita kál niye
Tátei káj sárite habe guchiye
Vrata sárthak habe ki kare
Alasa viláse kál gele bhese

Far removed goes the deep, dark night;
On eastern sky a newly risen sun beams.
Having hewn the mind-fog, hope blooms
On a vibrant wind that's sweet.

Sleep no more, stay up, everybody;
At the feast of life, enough work is there.
Many enemies exist; banished they must be
With firm belief and expectation steady.

With time delimited, on earth we've appeared;
Chores must be finished, managed inside that span only.
Will your mission be successful, will it be achieved,
If the time drifted away in self-indulgence lazy?
