Dure sare jay tamasii jaminii is the 2115th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dúre sare jáy támasii jáminii
Naváruń háse púrvákáshe
Maner kuyáshá ket́e phot́e áshá
Mandrila madhu vátáse

Ár ghumáyo ná ut́he paŕo sabe
Anek káj áche jiivaner utsabe
Anek ripu áche sariye dite habe
Drŕha pratyaye drŕha áshe

Dharáy esechi siimita kál niye
Tátei káj sárite habe guchiye
Vrata sárthak habe kii kare
Alas viláse kál gele bhese

O lord, you came, pulled close
and coloured the mind with your own colour.
whatever was due to me, you gave all that to me,
even that which i did not deserve.
i was mixed with the inanimate structure,
forgetting you; you brought consciousness at the end.
you made me understand, by what actions,
ultimate objective in human base can be attained.
there was nothing that i could calmly own;
there was no spiritual pursuit
or effort (sa'dhana') for that.
but i observed that your grace showered
and eyes got opened, and realized that it
was my mistake that i had forgotten you.
