Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dustara kálasamudra páre
Tumi jegechile
Andhatamisrár haye gelo apasár
Muhúrte kon mantrabale

Já chilo ná táhá elo
Práńe spandita halo
Nrtya giite práń haye gelo ucchala
Niiravatá májhe váńii dile

Jaŕete cetaná elo pragati rddhi elo
Hásikhushite dhará púrńa haye gelo
Apár karuńáy ameya mamatáy
Priitid́ore tumi sabáre báṋdhile

O lord, beyond the difficult ocean of time,
you remain awaken.
the Cimmerian darkness is dispelled;
the auspicious time has come
under the power of some charm.
What did not exist that came became vibrant in life.
into the dances and songs energy came overwhelmingly,
into the silence you provided speech.
into the inert, consciousness came,
progress and prosperity came.
with pleasure and joy, the earth became full.
by limitless mercy, and immeasurable affection,
with the rope of love, you tied all.
