Ei ashoka tarura tale is the 1704th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei ashoka tarura tale
Caetrer sáṋjhe káje akáje
Basitám kon chale

Madhumáse madhur malaye
Madhupa ásito madhur áshe dheye
Vedanásikta tyakta patra
Káṋdito virahánale

Se ashoktaru shukáiyá geche
Patra puśpa viliin hayeche
Madhupa e path cháŕiyá diyeche
Káṋde nirmadhu taru smrtijale

Under this tree of ashoka, during the evening of this
moth of caetra, with or without work, i sit under
some delusion. in this sweet spring month,
with sweet sandal breeze, the bee comes rushing
with the hope of honey. engrossed with pain the
dropped leaf cries with the burn of separation. that
ashoka tree is dried out, the leaves and flowers are lost.
The bees have left this path and cry with tears with
the memory of honeyless tree.
