Ei jhirjhire dakhiná váy
Báṋdhanhárá man kothá bhese jáy
Sauṋkocer jaŕatá tháke ná
Nabher baláká mor d́áná mele dháy

Kii je elo kii je gelo khoṋj rákhi ná
Ke je more jine nilo táo jáni ná
Sumukh páne cái práń bhare gán gái
Chande sure cinite acenáy

Mukta baláká sama ákáshe uŕi
Graha táráder sáthe áláp kari
Sabáre sauṋge niye samáj gaŕi
Vibheder beŕá man bheuṋge dite cáy

এই ঝিরঝিরে দখিনা বায়
বাঁধনহারা মন কোথা ভেসে' যায়
সঙ্কোচের জড়তা থাকে না
নভের বলাকা মোর ডানা মেলে' ধায়

কী যে এল কী যে গেল খোঁজ রাখি না
কে যে মোরে জিনে' নিল তাও জানি না
সুমুখ পানে চাই প্রাণ ভরে' গান গাই
ছন্দে সুরে চিনিতে অচেনায়

মুক্ত বলাকা সম আকাশে উড়ি
গ্রহ-তারাদের সাথে আলাপ করি
সবারে সঙ্গে নিয়ে সমাজ গড়ি
বিভেদের বেড়া মন ভেঙ্গে' দিতে চায়

In this slow southern breeze,
the mind, losing the bondage
goes on floating.
the inertia of hesitation
is no more
and my swan spreading the wings
rushes in the sky.
i do not keep an account
of what came and what went.
who won over me that also
i do not know.
i want to move forward,
singing song wholeheartedly,
recognizing the unknown
through rhythm and melody.
i fly in the sky like a free swan,
having dialogues with planets and stars.
taking all together, i create society,
the mind wants to break the bondages
of separation and distinction.
