Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei phágune kár manovane
Phul tulile gopane citacor
Phul nile sáthe madhu niye gele
Phele rekhe dile brnta kat́hor

Ámi bhávi shudhu tomár váratá
Liilá kare jáo kao náko kathá
Spandane áno je mukharatá
Táte máte mor cittacakor

Anádikáler tumi sakhá mor
Ananta pathe tava priitid́or
Beṋdhe rákhe more muche áṋkhilor
Tava bháve tái hayechi vibhor

O stealer of mind,
during this spring,
in whose mental garden, you secretly picked flowers,
You carried away the flowers, along with honey,
leaving the hard stalk.

I think about you only.
You just continue the divine liila' without any talk.
By the vibration, whatever expressions you brought,
by that itself, the chakor bird of my mind is intoxicated.
You are my companion since time immemorial,
and the string of your love, spreading an infinite path,
has kept me bound, wiping the tears.
Hence, with your ideation,
I am totally absorbed.
