In this restless frenzied wind,
+
Upon this same pervasive, insane wind,
the mind goes on floating
+
Unto someplace unknown the mind drifts.
to some unknown arena.
+
The chains of home it wants to strip off,
it wants to break the bondage of home,
+
Having loved a far, azure tint.
loving the distant blue sky.
+

there the world is not bound by law,
+
There are no rigid practices–
no slow or fast pace,
+
No tardiness, no swiftness.
no pain flowing tears,
+
Tears of sorrow are not shed;
and the liberated mind is lost
+
Free mind is lost within the Infinite.
in limitlessness.
+

what has happened,
+
What occurred, I cannot comprehend;
i am unable to understand,
+
I do not know who came, who went.
who came and who went,
+
In trade for everybody, with the One along,
that also i do not know.
+
I'm absorbed in just that One in private.
in exchange of all,

taking one in company,

i am frenzied in one in seclusion.

Ei ucchala unmada vay is the 2469th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei ucchala unmada váy
Man bhese jáy kon ajánáy
Gharer báṋdhan chiṋŕite cáhe
Bhálabese dúr niilimáy

Neiko niyama báṋdhádhará
Nei vilamba nei tvará
Neiko dukher ashru jhará
Mukta mánas asiime háráy

Kii je halo bujhite pári ná
Ke je elo ke je gelo jáni ná
Sabár vinimaye ek-ke sauṋge niye
Eketei mete áchi niráláy

Upon this same pervasive, insane wind,
Unto someplace unknown the mind drifts.
The chains of home it wants to strip off,
Having loved a far, azure tint.

There are no rigid practices–
No tardiness, no swiftness.
Tears of sorrow are not shed;
Free mind is lost within the Infinite.

What occurred, I cannot comprehend;
I do not know who came, who went.
In trade for everybody, with the One along,
I'm absorbed in just that One in private.
