Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei úśar upakúle
Din guńiyá jái
Ásibár kathá chilo anek áge
Padadhvani náhi pái

Áloker rathe tumi ásio priya
Tamasár sheś resh muchiyá dio
Ámi je tomár táhá mane rákhio
Tumi cháŕá ár kichu kabhu náhi cái

Sabár átmiiya tumi sabákár
Sampade vipade sauṋge sabár
Tumi cháŕá keha nái káro paricay nái
Tomáke ghire beṋce áche je sabái

At the bank of this dry unfertile land,
i go on counting the days.
there were many times the words of
arrival earlier, but i never heard
footsteps. o the dear, You come through
the chariot of light
and wipe out the traces of darkness totally.
i am Yours, this fact You keep in the mind.
other than you, i never want anything any time.
You are own for everyone and stay with all
during pain and pleasure.
there is no existence other than you,
no one is known. all are surviving
around you only.
