Gán je shuńiyechilum
Eklá base tomáy

Sethá anáháre mare ná keu
Sethá ajiṋatár bahe ná d́heu
Sethá mánuśe mánuśe hánáháni kare
Rakter nadii náhi baháy

Sethá buddhite náhi jaŕatá
Sethá bodhite náhika diinatá
Sethá ahauṋkárer andhakáre
Káhákeo keu dale ná jáy

এক স্বপ্নের দেশে আমি
মায়াভরা জোছনায়
গান যে শুণিয়েছিলুম
একলা বসে’ তোমায়

সেথা অনাহারে মরে না কেউ
সেথা অজ্ঞতার বহে না ঢেউ
সেথা মানুষে মানুষে হানাহানি করে’
রক্তের নদী নাহি বহায়

সেথা বুদ্ধিতে নাহি জড়তা
সেথা বোধিতে নাহিক দীনতা
সেথা অহঙ্কারের অন্ধকারে
কাহাকেও কেউ দলে’ না যায়

I was in a land of dreams
With moonlight magic-brimming.
This is the song I'd been hearing,
Sitting all alone with You.

There, no one dies from lack of food;
There, surge of foolishness is not endured.
There, human infighting does not occur;
No river of blood is made to run.

There, in the intellect is no inertia;
There, with intuition, never wretchedness.
There, due to darkness of arrogance,
None gets suppressed by any other.
