Bhule gechi tár vár tithi (ámi)
Shudhu mane paŕe madhur adhare
Balle ámi tomár atithi

Prayojan nei vár tithi jene
Sárá áyojan tomári manane
Theko mor sáthe jiivane marańe
Madhusyande diváráti

Kálátiite prabhu vasati tomár
Kál paribhúte áso bár bár
Shuśka hrdaye tumi sudhásár
Tái geye jái tava giiti

এসেছিল মনে কোন সে ফাগুনে
ভুলে' গেছি তার বার-তিথি (আমি)
শুধু মনে পড়ে মধুর অধরে
বললে আমি তোমার অতিথি

প্রয়োজন নেই বার-তিথি জেনে'
সারা আয়োজন তোমারই মননে
থেকো মোর সাথে জীবনে মরণে
মধুস্যন্দে দিবারাতি

কালাতীতে প্রভু বসতি তোমার
কাল-পরিভূতে আস বার বার
শুষ্ক হৃদয়ে তুমি সুধাসার
তাই গেয়ে' যাই তব গীতি

O lord, in which spring did you
come into the mind,
i have forgotten that day and date.
i only remember that
you spoke with sweet lips,
“i am your guest”.
there is no need to know the day and date,
all the arrangement is there in your mind.
stay with me in life and death,
day and night with sweet fragrance.
o lord, you dwell beyond time,
but come within the periphery
of time again and again.
you are essence of nectar for the dry heart;
hence I go on singing your song.
