Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Esecho hiyá jinecho
Ná baliyá sab kichu niye niyecho
Bahirvishve tomáre khuṋjechi
Antarlok álo kare rayecho

Tomár carań reńu rúp alakár
Tomár bháver tanu vishvabhúmár
Hesecho bhálobesecho
Ná jániye sab kichu diye diyecho

Vishva sthapati tumi virát́ puruś
Priitigiiti madhumákhá niśkaluś
Cinecho jene niyecho
Tabu guńáguń ná dekhiyá krpá karecho

O lord,
You came,
and, without speaking a word,
won my heart.

You took away my all.
I searched you in the external world.
You kept my inner world illuminated.

As is the heavenly beauty of the dust of your feet,
the whole cosmos is but the product of your thought.
You smile, love and grant everything,
even unknowingly.

You are the vast entity
that remains firmly established in the world,
as is the pure sweetness
that lies absorbed in a song of love.

You know and understand,
and nonetheless,
without consideration of merits and demerits,
You shower your grace upon me.
