Esecho paráń bhariyá esecho

Janama janama dhare ceyechi tomáre
Kata nishi ket́e geche vinidra áṋkhidháre
Avasheśe krpá halo tava ágaman halo
(Tumi) Nija háte diip mor jvelecho

Vishuśka marubhúmi sabujete phire elo
Vishiirńa srotadhárá joyárete bhare gelo
Vidiirńa hiyá mama náce gáne rúp pelo
(Tumi) Pelava parash diyecho

এসেছো পরাণ ভরিয়া এসেছো

জনম জনম ধরে চেয়েছি তোমারে
কত নিশি কেটে গেছে বিনিদ্র আঁখিধারে
অবশেষে কৃপা হলো তব আগমন হলো
(তুমি) নিজ হাতে দীপ মোর জ্বেলেছো

বিশুষ্ক মরুভূমি সবুজেতে ফিরে এলো
বিশীর্ণ স্রোতধারা জোয়ারেতে ভরে গেলো
বিদীর্ণ হিয়া মম নাচে গানে রূপ পেলো
(তুমি) পেলব পরশ দিয়েছো

You have come; fulfilling my life, You have come.

I have pined for You, taking birth after birth;
Many nights passed, sleepless and tearful.
Then at long last, grace befell with Your arrival;
By Your own hand, my lamp was kindled.

Verdure returned to an arid wilderness;
A trickling stream was brought to spate.
Through song and dance, my broken heart found shape;
You've applied a light caress.
