Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Esecho tumi esecho
Kaláper mata dúr niilákáshe
Nijere meliyá dharecho

Hatásh jiivan tomári parashe
Nútan áloka peyeche
Runu jhunu jhunu núpur dhvanite
Trilok jágiyá ut́heche
Áro káche eso áro káche baso
Dharái jakhan diyecho

Náhika bhakati náhika shakati
Práń bhare shudhu jánái prańati
Tumi e prańám kariyá grahań
More sárthaka karecho

You appeared, You appeared.
In the blue yonder, like a peacock,
Yourself You did extend.

By Your tender touch a gloomy life
Has got new light.
With the jingling of Your ankle bells,
The three worlds[nb 2] are aroused.
Come closer, stay closer,
Now that You've let Yourself be found.

I have no energy nor devotion to display.
All i can offer is my wholehearted surrender
and pranam (salutation).
By accepting these, provide fulfillment to me.
