O lord, come close, closer,
Please come near and still more near
with pearl flowing smile.
With a smile pearl-dripping...
come into the core of heart
Adorned by flowers amid psyche,
with floral adornment,
Pouring out the nectar of amity.
pouring nectar of love.

all want you,
Everyone wants only You,
colouring the mind with your colour,
Painting mind with Your hue...
filling it with your love, rhythm and song.
With Your affection smooth
this is not only my affair
To fill with song and music beat.
rather story of all devotees.

it is the history of all human minds
This is not just my opinion;
who sing the song
It's the votary's inmost anthem...
with aspiration of attainment.
Mental annals for a human,
Singing hopeful songs of attaining.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Eso káche áro káche
Muktá jhará hási niye
Marma májhe phulasáje
Priitisudhá d́hele diye

Sakale tomárei cáy
Tomár rauṋe manke ráuṋáy
Snigdha tava bhálabásáy
Chande giite dite bhariye

E shudhu nay ámár kathá
Bhakta janer marmagáthá
Mánav maner itikathá
Pávár áshár giiti geye

Please come near and still more near
With a smile pearl-dripping...
Adorned by flowers amid psyche,
Pouring out the nectar of amity.

Everyone wants only You,
Painting mind with Your hue...
With Your affection smooth
To fill with song and music beat.

This is not just my opinion;
It's the votary's inmost anthem...
Mental annals for a human,
Singing hopeful songs of attaining.
