Eso mane eso dhyane is the 1942nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Eso mane eso dhyáne
Chandamukhar he liiládhar
Eso práńe

Eso ámár bháver máláy
Eso ámár phuler d́áláy
Eso maner madhuvane
Maiṋjula vitáne

Kichui tomár nay ajáná
Sarvaloker sabái cená
Sabár kathá marmavyathá
Gáṋthá gáne

Please enter the mind, arrive inside meditation;
Rhythmically resonant, oh Bearer of Liila.[nb 2]
Into life please come.

Come into my garland of mental states;
Come into my floral wicker-tray.[nb 3]
Enter mind's pleasure garden,
Under its lovely pavilion.

For You there is nothing that's a mystery;
All persons in the universe are known to Thee.
Everybody's story, heartcore's agony,
Is strung upon a song.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Liiládhar is a name of Vishnu. As a triumvirate, God is sometimes viewed as Generator-Operator-Destroyer or Creator-Sustainer-Destroyer. Vishnu is the second of the three.
  3. ^ According to the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary, d́álá is a tray-shaped basket that typically is used for holding offerings to a deity.
