Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Eso tumi phuler sáje
Maner rájá mana májhe
Phulerá sab pápŕi mele
Madhu d́hele ceye áche

Cáṋpár kali lajjá bhuli
Dekhche tomáy ghomt́á tuli
Bakul mukul kśudra haleo
Hiyár ágal dilo khuli
Eso tumi chande tále
Kiḿshukeri ráuṋá sáje

Ámra mukul shyámal dukul
Uŕiye diye álgá madhul
Tomár káńe gáne gáne
Kay je kathá smita láje

O lord of my mind,
come into my mind
come with the adornment of flowers.

All the flowers have spread their petals
to welcome you by pouring out their honey.

The bud of the campa' flower,
forgetting its shyness,
looks at you and lifts its veil.

Although small,
the buds of bakula flowers open up
the doors of their hearts.

Come with rhythm and meter,
come decorated with the red colour of kinshuk flowers.
The buds of mango blossoms
scatter their sweet fragrance all over.

They want to speak to you
by whispering into your ears,
with a smile of shyness.
