Eso tumi ruper chatay is the 280th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Prabhu) Eso tumi rúper chat́áy
Jyotir jhalake
Anubhútir púrńatáke
Ráuṋiye áloke

Vishvátiita vishvamay tumi
Bháv bhávanár ádhárabhúmi
Tomár káj kare jái dhyán dhare jái
Nitya navaloke

Kabhu ámáy rekho ná dúre
Cetaná dáo chandamay sure
Jena háriye jábár duhkha pábár
T́ali ná shoke

Lord, please come in splendor,
In a torrent of divine light,
Consummating realization,
Illuminated with effulgence.

Beyond and of this world art Thou—
Source of thought and earth's substratum.
Your work I do, and I envisage
Ever-new humanity.

Never keep me at a distance;
Make me mindful of Your rhythmic melody,
So that getting lost and knowing sorrow,
I don't quake with anguish.

Context

This song and the following two songs were given at Anandashiila, an AMPS master unit a few hours drive from Ranchi. According to the notes of P. D. Narayan, Shrii Sarkar went to Anandashiila along with a group of Ananda Margiis for a picnic in celebration of Sarkar's recovery from a cataract operation and tooth extraction.[3] The two medical operations were both performed in Ranchi, which would account for the unusual, six-week stay there after the New Year's Dharma Mahacakra at Anandanagar. At that time, the official camp headquarters of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha was in Kolkata. Normally, Sarkar would have returned to Kolkata after the New Year's program.
