Hariye jaoya nidhi abar eseche is the 427th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Háriye jáoyá nidhi ábár eseche
Nayane go nayane
Sare jáoyá hiyá eseche phiriyá
Ásiyáche mrdu carańe
Carańe go carańe

Járá shuyechilo bakuleri tale
Samádhibhúmite cháyá sushiitale
Táhádera hiyá paŕe upaciyá
Bhálabásár ei madhura smarańe
Smarańe go smarańe

Smrti diye gherá samádhibhúmite
Calo dhiire dhiire mrdu carańete
Shántite shoyá odera ghúmete
Vyághát koro náko ruŕha rańane
Rańane go rańane
Eker káchákáchi orá sabe áche[nb 2]
Sei ekere peyechi gabhiir manane
Manane go manane

The lost treasure has come again
In our eyes, oh, in our eyes;
A heart withdrawn has come back,
Arriving on silent feet,
On feet, oh, on feet.

Those asleep under bakul trees,[nb 3]
In the cool shade of a sacred space,
Their hearts are overflowing
In love's sweet reverie,
In reverie, oh, in reverie.

Visions all around on hallowed ground,
Go stately and with silent feet;
Those lying peacefully, their sleep
Do not interrupt with rough sound,
With sound, oh, with sound.
They all are near to the One,
That One we reach with deep contemplation,
With contemplation, oh, with contemplation.

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ The last three lines of this song are omitted in the only audio file currently available.
  3. ^ The bakul (বকুল) or mimusops elengi tree is found in South and Southeast Asia as well as Northern Australia. Its flowers have a light fragrance that persists after the flowers are dried. In India, these flowers are used to make ornamental garlands for ceremonial worship of deities.
