O lord,
Even after losing, You concede no defeat.
even after losing,
You bring the living just to give them misery;
You do not accept defeat.
In anguish, they forsake everything worldly.

Amidst sufferings,
With flowers the thorns still abide;
You bring living beings to this world,
And side by side with flood is an ebb-tide.
and subsequently have them struggle
With honeycombs the sting of bees is there;
to free themselves from it.
Even the purest nectar, it is not unsullied.

On flowers,
Or is it that to give a sense of happiness,
thorns are present.
You've maintained the pain along with it?
On tides,
To rid us of disgrace from being dirty,
a flow also persists.
You make us put on the necklace of ascetic glory.

The bees await to taste the honey,
the essence of this nectar does not mix.

Providing the experience of pleasure,
You maintain pains along that too.

Washing off the agony of darkness,
You place the garland of glory on us.

Here giyeo mana na har is the 1021st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Here giyeo mána ná hár (tumi)
Jiivere ána shudhu duhkh dite
Duhkhe tyáje tárá e saḿsár

Phuler sauṋge rayeche je káṋt́á
Joyárer páshe páshe áche bháṋt́á
Maocáke maomáchir áche jválá
Amishra nay amrtasár

Tabe ki sukher anubhúti dite
Duhkhere rekhecha tári sáthe sáthe
Kálimár gláni baye jete jete
Paráiyá dáo garimá hár

Even after losing, You concede no defeat.
You bring the living just to give them misery;
In anguish, they forsake everything worldly.

With flowers the thorns still abide;
And side by side with flood is an ebb-tide.
With honeycombs the sting of bees is there;
Even the purest nectar, it is not unsullied.

Or is it that to give a sense of happiness,
You've maintained the pain along with it?
To rid us of disgrace from being dirty,
You make us put on the necklace of ascetic glory.
