(Prabhu tumi) Hrdayakamale eso mor
Ásibe baliyá gecho je caliyá
Kata nishi halo bhor

Phulera máláguli keu je pare ná
Kabariite málá ámio báṋdhi ná
(Mor) Shuśka nayane dhará háráyeche rúp
Rúp niye gecho ogo cittacor

Manamájhe mor keu ná gáy gán
Hiyára paridhite ot́he ná kona tán
Shrutira agocare sabe je geche sare
Áṋdháre phele ghanaghor

(প্রভু তুমি) হৃদয়কমলে এসো মোর
আসিবে বলিয়া গেছো যে চলিয়া
কত নিশি হলো ভোর

ফুলের মালাগুলি কেউ যে পরে না
কবরীতে মালা আমিও বাঁধি না
(মোর) শুষ্ক নয়নে ধরা হারায়েছে রূপ
রূপ নিয়ে গেছো ওগো চিত্তচোর

মনমাঝে মোর কেউ না গায় গান
হিয়ার পরিধিতে ওঠে না কোন তান
শ্রুতির অগোচরে সবে যে গেছে সরে
আঁধারে ফেলে ঘনঘোর

Lord, please appear in my heart-lotus.
You left, saying You'd return;
But too many a night has passed.

Now, no one is wearing flower garlands;
I too don't fasten one to my chignon.
In my dry eyes, the world has lost its beauty;
You've taken that grace away, oh Heart Thief.

In my mind, not a single song is sung;
Within mind's ambit, no tune is struck.
Beyond earshot they've all been removed;
Marooned am I in cloud-covered gloom.
