Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jábo ná ámi jábo ná jábo ná re
Surer ei chándasik jagat theke

Mor mánas loke mor átmik loke
(Ámi) Bence áchi sure jaŕiye theke

Surer haoyáy ámi khunji táke
Surer cháyáy ámi pái je táke
Surer chande madhuránande
(Ámár) Randhre randhre se je lukiye tháke

Ámár sakal cáoyár ámár sakal páoyár
Sheś kathá rayeche surer buke

I will not leave, no I will not leave
This rhythmic world of melody.

In the realm of my mind,
In the realm of my self,
I live wrapped in His melodies.

In the breeze of melodies, I seek Him.
In the shadows of melodies, I attain Him.
In the sweet and blissful rhythm of melodies,
In every pore of my existence,
He hides Himself.

In all my desires,
In all my accomplishments,
The final word lies in the heart of melodies.
